Themed parties made for dancing

Themed parties

Some occasions deserve more than a playlist and an open dance floor. Whether you’re planning a birthday, looking for something different for Carnival or putting together a special evening for Women’s Day, Castillo Salsa can turn the theme into something your guests actually become part of.

We bring dance into the party rather than stopping everything for a separate performance. José can introduce guests to Cuban salsa, get the room moving with a dance animation or let the evening develop into a much freer mix of Cuban rhythms and popular music. You don’t need guests who already dance – the whole idea is to make it easy to join.

The theme can be subtle or take over the whole night. If you already know exactly what you want, we’ll work around your idea. And if all you know is that you want people dancing and the evening to feel a little different, we can start there too.

How it works

How a themed party with us works

How much dancing becomes part of the evening depends on the kind of party you want to create.

Tell us about your occasion

Tell us what you’re celebrating and what kind of party you’d like to create.

We bring dance into the party

You can invite guests to a short workshop at the beginning and give them something new to try together, or bring José in later when the party is already underway.

Give the party its own character

A themed party doesn’t need dozens of decorations to feel different. Often, music and the way people interact with it do much more for the atmosphere.

For a Cuban or Latin-inspired evening, we can bring guests into the music through simple dance animations and elements of salsa. For another occasion, the Latin influence might only be one part of the night, mixed naturally with popular songs and the rest of the programme.

This works particularly well for occasions such as birthdays, Carnival, Women’s Day, Andrzejki or New Year celebrations, but the idea doesn’t have to fit into a ready-made category. If you have your own theme, tell us about it.

From the first steps to a full dance floor

How much dancing becomes part of the evening depends on the kind of party you want to create.

You can invite guests to a short workshop at the beginning and give them something new to try together, or bring José in later when the party is already underway. A few simple movements can be enough to get people involved before the music takes over and everyone starts dancing in their own way.

We can stay closer to Cuban salsa or move freely between Latin rhythms and popular party music. The point isn’t to teach a room full of guests a perfect choreography. It’s to use dance to make the party more fun.

Your occasion, your kind of party

Not every themed celebration needs to become a full Cuban night. Sometimes that is exactly what you want; sometimes a touch of Latin music and dancing is enough to change the atmosphere.

That’s why we first want to know what you’re celebrating and what you already have planned. An afternoon event for Women’s Day will naturally feel different from a birthday party that goes on until late, just as a Carnival evening gives us room to play with a completely different atmosphere.

If you’re organising a celebration for your company, you can also combine this idea with our Corporate offer.
