Workshops & Classes
If you want to bring more dance into your week, discover Cuban salsa or simply feel more comfortable moving to the music, you can join Castillo Salsa at one of our regular classes across Lower Silesia. We welcome complete beginners as well as people who want to continue developing their dancing, with Cuban salsa available both solo and in couples.
Our regular programme also includes Cardio Latino, our own more fitness-oriented dance format, while younger dancers can join Urban Latino, inspired by contemporary Cuban and urban styles. Alongside weekly classes, we organise thematic workshops that give us more time to explore a particular dance or rhythm and experience something different from a regular class.
You’ll currently find us in Wrocław, Trzebnica, Długołęka, Żerniki Wrocławskie and Oborniki Śląskie, while our workshops take us to other locations across the region. Actually we have a monthly workshop in Jelenia Góra. We also travel further, so if you’d like to bring Castillo Salsa to your city for a weekend workshop, get in touch with us.
How it works
We welcome complete beginners as well as people who want to continue developing their dancing, with Cuban salsa available both solo and in couples.
You can currently join our regular classes in Wrocław (Agora and Żerniki Wrocławskie), Trzebnica, Długołęka and Oborniki Śląskie.
We travel throughout Poland for thematic and weekend workshops. Send us your location and tell us a little about the event.
Regular classes are only one part of what we do. We also work with cultural centres and other venues across Lower Silesia to organise longer, thematic workshops.
These meetings give us more freedom to focus on a particular side of Cuban dance and music. In Jelenia Góra, for example, participants can combine salsa with an additional thematic workshop, while other events around the region have their own programme depending on the group and occasion.
We deliberately keep the programme varied rather than turning every workshop into a longer version of a weekly salsa class. Current dates and workshop themes can be found on our Instagram.

Although Lower Silesia is our base, we travel throughout Poland for workshops, guest classes and special dance programmes, including activities for schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions.
Our workshops can become part of a Language Day, school celebration, prom, school disco, cultural event or themed day. Depending on the age and occasion, we can introduce Cuban salsa, bachata, merengue and other Latin rhythms, combining dance with Cuban and Latin culture.
For Language Days and cultural programmes, we can add simple Spanish activities, interactive quizzes and fun facts about Cuba and Latin America. With younger children and kindergartens, we focus more on rhythm, music, movement and play, always adapting the activities to their age.
Looking for something more than dance? A larger themed programme can also include a mini Spanish lesson, culture quiz, tropical lemonade making or a simple culinary workshop.
Tell us the age of the group, your location and what you’re planning, and we’ll create a programme that fits the occasion.

Our adult classes are centred around Cuban salsa, taught both solo and in couples. Beginners can start with the foundations, while continuing groups gradually develop their movement and become more comfortable dancing to the music.
For those looking for something more energetic, there’s Cardio Latino. It’s our own dance-fitness format, designed for people who want to move and work out through dance rather than take a traditional salsa class. Latin rhythms naturally play an important role, but you’ll hear popular music too.
Our younger groups have their own format. Urban Latino draws from reggaeton and reparto alongside Afro and hip-hop influences, bringing a more contemporary character to the class.

Not necessarily. We teach Cuban salsa both solo and in couples, depending on the location and group.
Cardio Latino is our own dance-fitness class. It’s more about movement and an active workout than learning salsa figures, with Latin rhythms mixed with popular music.
Urban Latino is our format for younger dancers, influenced by reggaeton, reparto, Afro and hip-hop.
